The Fayette Community Foundation was founded in 2001 with the goal of becoming this area’s premier resource for philanthropists, non-profit organizations, and community leaders.  A community foundation provides donors with flexible, efficient and tax-effective ways to ensure their charitable giving achieves the greatest possible impact. It does this by building, over time, substantial endowment funds. 

Fayette Community Foundation is working to grow its Community Impact Fund, an unrestricted endowment that is invested and continues to increase annually. Each year, a portion of the income earned by the Community Impact Fund is granted to fund local projects and programs that are enhancing the quality of life for all members of Fayette County and the surrounding rural areas.
